Reviews for "Battle for the Galaxy"
Game is almost 100% the same as another game, but with a new skin.
It suffers from the same mistakes the other game has:
1) Every time you attack, you lose 100% of the troops you sent, even when you win easily.
This means you have to wait for troops to be rebuilt after every battle, which can take 20 minutes at the start, but much longer when you have more advanced units.
2) You can't build more troops than your transports can carry, so you can't pre-build while sleeping, etc. You have to wait while you are actually trying to play the game.
3) Everyone is named Nomad at the start. Unlike most games where you choose a name before joining, here you have 90% of the players with the same name. Could have at least added an incriminating number so the names wouldn't be identical.
4) Buildings quickly get to the point where upgrades are in hours, rather than minutes. For come buildings, it takes hours to upgrade to level 2. For others, it takes hours to make even the level 1.
Overall, the game play is SLOW, but then you have helpful hint screens that pop up for 1s, which you can't possibly read most times it flashes by.
Keeping troops you send that survive battle would go a long way to speeding the game up, and help with player retention.
Better matching system is needed. I could only choose from 3 or 4 alliances when I wanted to join (called a Corporation in this game for some reason that isn't clear.) Only 1 of them seemed active, and it was tossed into a war with an alliance ranked 18th my first day playing. (The alliance was ranked below the top 300, and had dropped a group level from having lost previous war.)
I could go on, but I think that is enough stuff for the Devs to work on, if they intend to fix the game.

Please check your browser settings - we use local storage of your browser. If you set it to clear cache every restart - you loose progress. Also you can save progress via clicking facebook button.
And if you remember your base name/level/corporation we can restore your progress with a key - send me a PM
