Reviews for "Pound the Puss"

I thought this game was short, funny and to the point (no pun intended). I will admit though, I played two or three times to make sure I got all of the medals, lol. Nice one!

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks a bunch!

You sir deserve to burn in hell for this game...
But then again don't we all? I mean I read the title and road into this with my pointer finger ablaze.
Honestly I don't think ill ever be able to play another game on NewGrounds that is as great as this epic Point'n'Click adventure. I hope you continue to make amazing games like this in the future!
Sincerely Bigaby Kingson.

OrangePylon responds:

I've never been so flattered by a review that told me to burn in hell.

Fucking A.

This game is the epitome of everything that there's to love about point and click games, a genre being amazingly hard to stay relevant and fresh in these days. Obviously, it has a great sense of humor, that's frankly not as gross, vulgar and outrageous as you'd expect. Jokes are well written and are chuckle-inducing, characters are good, especially with the likeable protagonist, the puzzles are ok and could've been more challenging than the usual "Distinguish a thingie from the background" kind of stuff, but that's only a minor complaint. I've also enjoyed the humorous easter eggs: really nice touch.

Overall, I didn't really get the Conker vibe out of this game, since it was both tamer than the former and is in completely different genre, but it's rather remarkable on its own accord. 5/5, 9/10.

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks a lot! If I'm being honest, I think Conker's Bad Fur Day tended to lean a little heavy on the gross-out/parody side, and in doing so, sort of left out one of Rare's strongest traits: building a grand world filled with interesting characters. I don't think it was because the game was adult, though; it's just the direction they took with it. I hope I achieved some sort of middle-ground between shock humour and being genuinely charming (which a lot of Bad Fur Day did do!), albeit on a much smaller scale.

Anyway, thanks for the review!

I love this game, It's very funny, and that one quarter (you know which one I'm talking about) was a little irritating, but it was a very fun game. Keep up the good work.

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks a lot! That quarter is the real villain of this game.

dammit! i cant find the 4th quarter! :( i really want to beat the game, but i cant find the last one!

OrangePylon responds:

Oh man, you're gonna be pissed. Haha. There's a link to the official walkthrough on the main menu; I suggest following it to find whichever quarter you're missing (although I have a feeling I know which one it is).
