I thought this game was pretty good. Maybe I started out on the wrong foot with the game, but none the less, it all works. Not too much of a fan on the backgrounds, but why let something like that muddle a good game.

Although this game showed occasional signs of unpolishedness, honestly, I'm hard-pressed to find a moment that I didn't enjoy playing Wickebine. I did play the download version (I prefer to own things) and although Wickebine's running speed is slow, her blade moves just fine far as I can tell. This game is short (for those reading reviews) if you sit and just play it, and one could probably get through the final dungeon within a day. You get sub-weapons in the game with various elemental attributes and ranges that you may choose per your liking. They can be charged by holding D, but you will acquire the Auto-Battery, which allows you to charge automatically without D! There are enemies throughout the dungeon, and there are few opportunities for annoying pitfalls. The bosses are well done, with the exception of a handful of attacks that could've been made a bit more powerful IMO. There is not much talking to people and collecting, etc, it is mostly just going through dungeons.

All in all, I haven't enjoyed a flash game this much since Phoenotopia. There were a few small glitches apparent but none of them provided any impediment to gameplay at all and I did not find any faults worthy of taking off rating. I've completed the final dungeon, but unlocked the post-game "Victoria's Secret" XD. I'll play it some time soon!
This was GREAT! I loved the theme, the skills, and the bosses. The only boss that gave me trouble was Pharaoh. Also, I got the mirror, and I fought Omega Doppelganger, but the game did not ask me to use the mirror. And it didn't give me the boots at the end of the fight. But otherwise, the game was great!
As a seasoned Metroidvania payer i gotta say, this was pretty awesome, plus the mix with Ragnarok theme, it is just perfection
Great game loved every bit of it, the combat felt a little awkward at times but in a weird way it worked. My only question is do bosses still drop items in the re-test/re-fight area?
