This is really fun and good practice
Pretty nice game, entertaining, awesome art and nice music. The only bad thing I found within, was that I hadn't the possibility of customize controls (I don't know why, but I hate using "A, S" in most games). Good luck with your project :D

:P Rebindable controls is on the list for the Steam version, still haven't build that functionality yet haha. Will develop that feature before Rearmed launches out of Early Access to Full Release.
If you have a xbox controller, you can use that to play Rearmed Trials - much better than keyboard ;)

I absolutely love it.
Particularly, the combat. The speed gave me a rush. It also had a sense of epicness as well as smoothly executed attacks that respond quite well.
Though I do have a few complaints. First the music wasn't very fitting. Perhaps something a bit traditional would be better. I had Rurouni Kenshin The Movie theme on for the entire game. I sort of resonated with the samurai-like character I played as and the haunting landscape of the game.
Second, the hit boxes don't match the imagery. Examples include the second boss's huge flame attack and the character's mid-air special attack. Even if you don't get damage for it , at least add a little knockback to it.
I realise my complaints were far longer than my compliments but really they're just small details in a really enjoyable game.
