Reviews for "Call Me Young Kaleido"

Great puzzling. It would be cool to have a restart-level button. Also, a big high-five for the wordplay in the name :D

Theihe responds:

Ofcourse there is a restart level option, it says in the tutorial text. It's R in case you missed it (:

Also thank you, I thought it was pretty clever (;

It's great to see a puzzle game on this site that docent want to make you throw your keyboard across the room. The only grip i have is that there are not more levels that have the shooty-things. Overall great game!

Theihe responds:

Thank you for your feedback!
And do not fret, new update will be coming soon ;)

This would be better with WASD and NumPad support

Theihe responds:

I'll implement WASD right now! :)
Though it seems strange that the numberpad isn't supported by deafult.
I'll fix this asap and the update will be up on Tuesday!
Thank you for your ongoing support!

Nice game. It would be better though if the background colours were more eye friendly!

Theihe responds:

I want the game to be in the CMYK palette, but I'll see if I can make it easier on the eyes :)

This is certainly NOT an original idea, there are other games with that theme. That being said, it is a good execution of the idea (which may be a bit unpopular with colorblind people). Music isn't set to repeat, please consider fixing this - It is good music.

Gameplay is mostly straightforward - 40 levels go on a blink. Relevant obstacles (shooter thingies) are introduced too late and so are not explored to good extent. Controls are OK.

Nice being onsiderate for foreign languages, which are not really needed, since there's no relevant dialogues - only tutorial, which would require no words at all: Only arrows and numbers keys, embedded on the background.

Difficulty is extremely easy. Consider adding other stuff (collectibles for extra points/achievements, more enemies etc).

Overall: Decent game, a bit good, maybe mostly because of music than gameplay. There's a LOT of room for improvement, though!

Theihe responds:

It sounds very strange that the music isn't set to repeat, it might be a browser issue but it could also be faulty code on my part. I will make sure to check this out ASAP after I get some proper sleep (: Thank you for bringing this to my attention!

The levels aren't done, there are currently 40 but I intend to create 60 more; so 100 levels is the plan for now :) New levels will be added every week to keep gameplay fresh!

I do believe the text is very nice so that it can be in every level, but I do see where you're coming from for sure! :)

I'll take this feedback into consideration! Thank you for your support!

There is always room for improvement! Thank you for your extensive review, it is really helpful for the future development! (:
