I really enjoyed this! But it glitched while I was playing. I don't know what happened but in the 2nd episode after the ship appears over the White House and the prez gets teleported in, the next slide just flashed into black, and every slide since then has been black. Even after I started the next episode.

JackAstral responds:

Thanks! That's a super rare bug - it's only happened to me once on the Episode 2 stand alone upload on itch.io and I have no idea what caused it. If you refresh the page it'll start working properly. Sorry about that!

Ammm.... What to say... It's the best trash I've seen in my life, that's it. I mean, it'so totally silly that you just can't help but wonder what will happen next and so on. Good work, really.

JackAstral responds:

lol thanks!

Nice story!

Thanks!

So maybe it's just the fact that the game was given in one continuous chunk but it feels a lot smoother. Overall the dialogue is solid and while the continuity with the 0.8 universe is there it feels pretty minimal. Atom and George Amori are different people right? Also the fact that the Clear Moon symbol was on his grave speaks that the organization, while having nothing to do with this instance, are probably still around.

The story told here is quite fascinating. The Alien's seem realistic... after a fashion, at least in their motivation. Same for the President. I enjoy the fact that Rey is not someone who jumps into action right away. The only time he fights is when the boss shows up but otherwise I get the feeling he actually dislikes violence. Especially given his grandfather was a war veteran. When he surrenders in the end to save his new friends... it was kind of eye opening and the Alien leader's motivation for returning him to life felt right.

All of your main characters in the stories seem to cover a fairly diverse spectrum of being human and what being put through some very tough trials will do to them. Most rise to the occasion even if they don't always make it through alive. Often those that do are better for it. Or at least they seem to be.

Ultimately though it's all good storytelling once you look past the obvious 4th wall breaking and over-the-top silliness of some scenes. Very excited to see your next series come out. Thanks again Jack!

JackAstral responds:

Thanks! As silly and stupid as my stories get sometimes, I always try to include a strong emotional core to it

I'm really excited about my next series - I think it's a good next step for me :-D
