Reviews for "You Have 293 Keys"

Granted it was made in the period of a day, it's a pretty garbage game with only one redeeming quality and that's tossing the keys into the void. Controls were pretty laggy. It looks like out of those 24 hours of development, around an hour, tops, was spent on the environment. Wasn't a fan of having to keep the area around the lock fairly clear, to the extent I had to anyways, so keys wouldn't start reinserting themselves into the lock making me have to wait for them to finish. Also wasn't a fan of how many keys got stuck in the ground around the steps in front of the door. Couldn't pick them up out of the floor and was pretty worried one of em was the one I needed to open the door. The physics were pretty wonky, too. I go to lift a key and turn and keys fly violently in every direction save for the one I turned causing some keys to fall; didn't matter if the key I grabbed was surrounded by a lot or only a few keys, the outcome was the same. Overall, the game was boring. Without a sense of urgency like a time limit or some form of adversary, there's no way this game can stand on it's own the way it is. Also could have used some music that didn't sound like it came from an ice cream truck.

An "A" for effort, but yeah, overall this game was crap.

There's nothing special inside. It just shows how many keys you tried and how much time you wasted. That's it.

This is a perfect "game" if you wanna waste about 20 minutes of time for no reason.

I thought my boss' set of keys were bad.

So many keys that I found it tended to stutter a lot.

I did find the right key and opened the door. Then being a gentleman, I decided to try to clear off the rest of the unused keys (I'd probably only gone through about 50 or so to that point). Tried sweeping other keys off with a key, and then thought I'd try to crouch or something to get lower down and get a better angle. In most 3D games I've played, crouching is controlled using the CTRL key, so I pressed it... and the browser crashed.

A nice concept, but certainly more a chore, or perhaps a challenge, than a game. Would definitely translate well into VR, though some variance would be nice.

Cool idea, took me 260 keys >< seems like this gimmick would adapt well to a vive game
