Reviews for "Cube Escape: The Cave"

It took me so long to complete the cave and the submarine adventures although I had made use of the helpful hints. I didn't expect to try the tools on the dog and give it some gross food. :| But, it was part the story line. I enjoyed reading the chapters which gave me more information about different game characters. Taking control of the submarine was a tedious task as I had to locate the searching area first before travelling to the cube. Also, there are mini-games to kill the time. What happened at the end remains a mystery. Dale and Laura may have exchanged their souls?!
Graphics, animations, and sound effects are great.

Another brilliant game!

nice gsme

I promised myself I wasn't going to brute-force anything. I failed. I was stuck for a little trying to speak in morse code to a fish. "Where" "Owl" Hi" I looked around the room for hints again.. went to bed, got up, and then slid the co-ordniates on the sonar around until I got a hit.
Reading the comments reveals that some people mistook a key mould for the key itself. That's odd. They had to make a key in The Mill also, so there shouldn't be any confusion at this point if they've played the others. You can ignore that complaint, I think.
When I was arranging fish, I thought something would happen when I got all of them to be the same weight, lit the fire, and then closed the box. Nothing did, until I Switched two fish, and then switched them back. Fire needs to be lit first, I guess.

Those bugs flying in little shapes was amazing when I realized what they were doing.

Overall, very solvable, and a lovely atmosphere.

Another Rusty Lake home-run, well made and intriguing as always. Figuring out how to work the Cubemarine was particularly fun in this one.

The only nitpick I'd have is about the tutorial / instructional messages that popped up during the first few puzzles, like "Drag", "Draw a line" etc. which I thought we're unnecessary and a bit immersion-breaking (despite being so surreal, I always found these games incredibly immersive).

If you plan on including these in future installments, maybe you could make them optional in the settings?

And for the newcomers confused with the storyline - you should definitely play the whole series in order first to make heads or tails of the whole thing; you won't regret it!
