Any game made by RPG maker reminds me of the Medieval Cop series.
Amazing.
I found this to have all the good things about an rpg and none of the bad things.
The fact that you didn't level up means no grinding. Getting stronger felt more satisfying since you actually have to think about your equipment and what to do next and at some point break the cycle.
The plot is great, I love the fact the first cycle felt like it was the end of the game, when it really just started. I also liked how the character got all cynical when he was able to keep his memory.
The only thing that felt a bit off was the difficulty of the final boss fight (which I saw coming since I finished the first cycle), Teira's multiple hit skill attack makes it so the fight is over in about 3 turns. I feel like the final boss should require more tactic, since all characters are so powerful at that point.
Amazing game. The sudden shift in the characters personalities between cycles is the best deconstruction of formulaic character designs I've ever seen in a medium such as this. This was an honestly refreshing surprise to find something as simple as a flash game.
Chrome users. Do yourselves a favor and download firefox and play this game. You'll only be denying yourself a great experience otherwise.
I wonder, how long did it take you from conception to complete the story of this game out of curiosity? (Not making the game). I thought it was amazing. The only eroge I've played is fate stay night, and I've loved rpgs since FFX and grandia II, so I thought this was a welcoming blast from the past. It was very clever and well-written. I actually bought the 2.0 version for my first play through and marathoned it in one sitting. I feel some people might be put off by the hentai, but I can tell you're like an aspiring eroge game maker or you just like that kinky shit.... like holy moly that's an understatement. My favorite sex scene was the futa one with the shopkeeper... so darkly funny and hot in a weird way.

It's hard to say the time from conception to complete story, because I had the original idea of a cyclical story in my head for a long time. When I started this project, I sat down and decided exactly which elements I wanted to emphasize and what kind of story would best support those. It was a few days before I had the idea mostly settled, though the idea evolved somewhat as I developed it.
I have ideas for all kinds of different games! If you look over my current games, you'll see a mix of kinkier concepts and softer eroge. Right now I'm focused on my ideas that work as adult games, but in the future I hope to expand further.
