Not bad!
There's a definite hook value to this game and its fun for the most part. However there are a couple of things that almost turned me off to it.
First of all, the boost mode feature is great, but for it to eat points and shrink your snake is offputting. If it were me, I would have used a boost bar that fills up either over time or by collecting refill powerups for it. This would prevent players from spamming it and force them to use it more tactically in short bursts.
The second thing is the score register. It lags severely when you manage to grow your snake to an enormous size. My score eventually got stuck on 65,176 and wouldn't go higher even after 10 more minutes of gameplay. In fact, it dropped even when I didn't use boost. Maybe it's due to the limitation of the file size or something, but it definitely kills replay value.
I believe if you address these couple of things, your game will be much more enjoyable.
Fun and cute game. Nice alt to sltiherio (especially for me since the game lags like hell for me) The mlg part is kinda, and I hate to use this word, cringe worthy. The only thing I have wrong with it is the score system. When it reaches a certain point it just stops, which kinda demotivates you to play it again to get a higher score. If you make another version of Snake.is, please fix this problem.
I liked this game a lot, but then I tried slither.io. Slither.io has actual multiplayer instead of fake multiplayer, and the score in slither.io actually works while in this game it's bugged, starting to behave strange with steps at 54k, 59k, 65k, 74k and capping at 89k. Slither.io also does not have the annoying loud MLG sounds. Plus point of Snake.is MLG however is that you get notified if a snake hits you. I prefer the real multiplayer and working score though.
