Reviews for "Escape3"

It's a good tutorial level, teaching you how the various character abilities work without holding your hand

(You should extend this into a full game and include teamwork puzzles)

As others have said: this is overall a very good game with amazing graphics, and the only thing that seems a little off is the fact that the three characters each essentially go through their levels independently without really interacting. Of course it's hard to complain about not having that degree of intricacy to level designs when the game was made in two weeks for a gamejam after all.

At one point I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do and I stopped playing (I needed to take a break from playing these gamejam games anyway), but I came back to the game later on and found that pressing H brought up a screen that clued me in. I guess construct 3 is locked now that the jam is over, but even if so, maybe you could mention the game controls including H key in the author comments.

Terrific artstyle, and it's amazing that this was the product of only two weeks! I don't like how dark the clay is, but that's just my opinion, I prefer a brighter palette. An overall decent game, good luck on your next one.

Pretty neat concept and generally well executed overall!

The only major nitpick I had is the idea of the three needing to join back together; I get that it was part of the gamejam theme, but I feel if you would have been able to jump while you were all stuck together it would have allowed for a lot more possibilities with the environment/player control.

Instead though, you spend almost your entire time separated, and it feels like it's just an extra button to hold before each gameplay segment.

Again though, besides that, really nicely done music, art, execution, concept!

This has to be among my favourites of the jam!
The stopmotion was pretty well implemented, especially on the largest animated objects like the spikes! (it made me wish to se more objects animated like that, but based on my experience as another jammer, I guess there wasn't much time for that, heh), I liked how the pieces of this characters had different behaviours with water and light, I'd say there's a lot of potential in that aspect.

Awesome work!
