Reviews for "Three Days Before"

really great game, i reall wish it had been longer, but i understand the deadline. but the area where you have to put out the fire frustratet me since there was no hints on how, and the birds were really weird to make hit the right place, but besides that its a really fun short 5min game, and its telling you a few good things along the game.

I love these games with a story... but I am stuck at the level with obstacles being the path. I cannot get past the fire... (Help???)

This is a great game... not buggy to me, and the music is beautiful. Well made!!

Thanks!
Try to move the rainy cloud over the fire! I won't tell you how, but find something that can touch it!
I promise that the last scenario is worth seeing!

I like how you added narrative to a platformer and still left in some puzzles (like the fire.) Well done. I agree that the signs could be a little more prominent. The story is a little confusing, but it's also ok to be ambiguous and let the player extrapolate the story. The black and white artwork is appropriate, I think it would have been interesting to have the character meld into one at the end, under the umbrella, that would have been a nice touch (if you were going for some 'closure'.)

The rain cloud and fire was too confusing for me :/ one moment it moved, I tried everything but it just stayed there. I quit playing :/

★ I'm always a sucker for minimalist games that have a deeper meaning behind them. I love the incorporation of your little doodles during the beginning and the allusion towards 3's at the 'those three words are hard to say' portion. I adore the street signs with the messages on them, they give us hints on character personality and settles in the over all theme of the game. [ btw, classical music was a lovely touch]

Final conclusion ?
Keep at this project.
It has a lot of potentials.
Work on the graphics and work out the bugs, maybe add some sound effects or hire an artist to work on it with you.

bugs found : 1.
-- when you go off the screen at the hill portion of the game, your character is unable to come back onto the scene.

RhogerSato responds:

Hey! Thanks for the feedback!
The project was made on Construct3, so I'll have to remake everything on Construct2 if I want to keep up with the project.
I wish I could have done more, I mean, I had 2 weeks but started only 3 days before the Jam deadline. My bad haha!
All the best!
