Reviews for "Computer Evolution"

For a game that is quite obviously not one to be completed within 30 minutes, I would have thought that medals would have been available; especially considering it's an Idle game. Talk about dumping a serious amount of time into a game for nothing but mental satisfaction (if that can be achieved with a game that has very little audio feedback or visual stimulation).

The upgrade prices for Quantity/OS/Cores is drastically too high. I'm not going to sit here and "play" this to find out how long it takes to get 50 million dollars. Gotta bring that to something reasonable. In today's world there is no computer core that's worth 50M, there's no Hard Drive worth 2.5Billion, no extra RAM that costs 50M -- you see where I'm going with this.

For a game that has little to no animation, it sure does lag a lot. There's no point in continuously clicking on the Installed Apps to make it go faster, cause the lag causes it to be slower than if you clicked it once and waited for it to complete itself to then click again. It's ridiculous.

There's nothing fun about the game, no incentive to keep playing. I apologize if this seems harsh, but on a website that advertises "Everything by Everyone", you've got to keep things fresh and entertaining to actually draw people in to enjoy your game. I, for one, did not enjoy it even slightly. I palyed it long enough to give it a review.

Very simple but not enough instructions.

How the hell do you get investors? is it better to delete older apps? maybe some tips or something?

i get that its an idle game and all....which i had to read the other comments to find out. but how am i supposed to know when i can upgrade when there is NOTHING that tells me how much i have? seems like an important detail to leave out. also most idle games have something that you can repeatedly click to help jump-start the player's game.
in short: needs explanation of what to do in-game. needs current cash display.

Pretty good idle game. Could use more kinds of upgrades, maybe even a visual.

It's, um, a pretty mediocre idle game. I'd be more impressed if you tried to have at least some semblance of how the computer parts ACTUALLY work. Motherboard, for instance? The OS you can use has nothing to do with the motherboard you use(directly - obviously in some cases you actually can't run an OS with a certain motherboard/chipset, but that's not because of the motherboard itself, but because it doesn't support enough RAM or a powerful enough CPU), except in cases where you can't use the operating system because the motherboard chipset is too NEW. So pretty much the opposite of how it works in the game. Motherboard should limit CPU and RAM upgrades, not OS upgrades. And that's just an example, the game is riddled with such nonsense.
