Thx man =D

Very enjoyable game with great performance and also a pleasing pixel art style :)
I like how you added the different types of enemies, this definitely made the game more fun. But I would really like to point out some of the small downsides from it first:

- At the beginning of the game I thought that the bar with the head was like the health bar/armor and the one below the damage/amount of shots we can do, but later I understood the concept of the game a little bit more. You just have to protect both of the buildings on the sides, but the only thing they're different from each other is just the look, the don't give like an advantage or something. I think it would be a little bit more fun if you made so the one gives you more damage depending on how full the bar is and the other one like the speed or something? ;)

-Speaking of advantages, I think the game would also need some upgrades or bonuses in the fight, like higher fire rate, burning character that kills enemies on contact, a clone etc.
Maybe also a 2 player mode then with 4 different buildings? Would be awesome ^^

-I also think that pretty much all of the Ludum Dare 39 are amazing and I love jams like that, they deliver to us very high quality products that are a blast to play and also an interesting competition. But from my own experience I would say, that the games are a bit too "straight forward", I mean, yeah, they're all a bit arcade-styled so that they can focus on the main goal, but I think that the game creators should also add some more customizations to the game, like different stages, the option to customize the character etc. It's not too bad if you don't do it (most don't do it), but I just generally think that those would be some nice touches people could work on after they've released the game, just to make the games more in-depth :P

welp, yeah, that was pretty much it,, hope you'll think about changing some of the things in the game that I've mentioned ;)

I'm glad that you enjoyed it, IIITesTerIII :D and thank you so much for the very constructive and valuable feedback! I will take all of this in account to improve the game and for the next Ludum Dare game ;)

Definitely a fun game, I could spend many hours on this, but it would be amazing to have somthing like an upgrade system. It is a fun concept but I quickly felt that there was no purpose to what I was doing. Thank you for making such a nice game though.

aQuadiun responds:

Thx for the feedback! Yeah we thought to put something like power ups too, we we didint had time =/. We are glad that you liked it maybe in the future we continue to develop the game, we are busy now finishing other game. You can follow us to keep informed.
Thx

Really good game. It does start off kind of too easy. After about a minute and a half or something, I'm already in the zone and am ready to take on a bigger challenge. I know you made it so it doesn't get challenging until the 7-8 minute mark, but that just seems like too long. I was getting kinda bored at the 3-minute mark. However, it's still a pretty good game with good visuals and gameplay.

Oh, and we need a Pause button. I'd prefer if it was Esc

aQuadiun responds:

Hi DubstepJoltik, I'm glad that you liked it and thank you for the feedback. We will figure it out how to balance the game to try to satisfy all types of players.
Yes, the Pause button is necessary, I agree with you, while I tested, I missed that feature too :P but we did not have enough time to implement it during the jam, but we will add that for sure in future updates ;)

The game is well done, it is smooth and the music selection helps giving that 8-bit finish. But however i would recommend you to make it more challenging by modifying the spawn rate as time goes by or by adding new enemies at certain time, maybe some power-ups too. This will help increasing the addictiveness of your game making it more exciting to play and thus more successful.

Hi JoeMikes616, thank you for your feedback and suggestion! We will take all of this in account to improve the game :)
