Good work!, I find the flying shooter to be a bit of an 'exhausted' genre, so it's nice to see new mechanics applied to it!
Now I'll just focus on things that probably weren't of much priority on the jam; for a while I was a bit confused since whenever I absorbed an enemy I would always get 'overloaded', at least I figured it out on the 2nd attempt, but a brief intro would help...
I guess it's a convention on bullet hell games is to focus on the main 'dot' of the ship as a hitbox, although it was a bit confusing since the ship is so big, maybe there could be a bit more clarity on what's the player's hitbox.
Maybe you already have those in mind, that said, the energy mechanic (and maybe variable bullets/skills that make use of it) can make for a cool twist on the genre.

This has a TON of potential. I would love to see this polished up with some less cartoonish type of graphics and slightly smoother gameplay. The mechanics are nice, I just like faster movement like in resogun or geometry wars. I love the charge mechanism. I can see this also having a deep upgrade system and dodge/evasion system (like a quick boost or something). Perhaps different types of charging beams? Some that freeze the enemy in place or something? Also, would like to see multiple ships maybe? All in all, this could be a fantastic game. Please keep working on it! I could see this being on an IOS or android. One last tid bit, in some shooters, a small reticle is placed in the center of the ship to show the vulnerable spot that you must keep from the enemies bullets, it helps a lot in maneuvering through a hail of bullets. Keep up the good work and I hope this helps!

I'mpressive, short, but impressive, If you could also up the difficulty I'd be very very amused!!

This game has very good art style and very good game-play and mechanics. I only wish it were longer and getting more complex as it progresses. How about the same mechanic but with different attacks and different types of enemies giving charges for different attacks? Also the charge bar could be bigger - it doesn't have to pop up under the protagonist it could just pop up on lower side of screen and be bigger.

Good work for 3 days! It was a little easy, but I was left wanting more.
