Reviews for "Fragile"

Wow, this game is brutal and beautiful at the same time! Cute pixel graphics, excellent music and harsh start\learning to play: all this made a lasting impression on me. Great job!

Nice game. Couldn't figure out what to do after hatching... but nice game anyway!
I found a glitch: after you use the first moving platform, you keep hearing the platform's sound until the end.

Unless I missed something, I assume the intent is to have players carefully keep the egg from cracking the first time, only to be trapped in the pit at the end? You may want to consider having a restart option in the game instead of forcing a page refresh, which I think might reduce frustration. So the message is needing to take risks or not shelter yourself in order to fly, or something like that?

Alright.

We thought that a restart button would be too straight forward, not letting the player figure it out themselves. It was a conscious choice that may backfire.

It's very artsy. I really like the idea behind the eggs and how it wraps up at the end.
The controls are very tight and there's some basic platformer elements sprinkled in all over. Letting your egg siblings be an optional tutorial simply by watching is a great idea. Additionally the sound effect "clink" that happen each jump perfectly matches the anxiety of possibly breaking the egg.
My only gripe is that you can't die like your siblings. Feels out of place to hatch when they can't yet.

I actually really liked it. Was a beautiful experience playing it, the music in the background along with the cave design gave me a relaxing feeling... Also, is this game already finished? I got kinda far on my second try of trying to beat it but after some time I fell like in an abyss and couldn't get out since there weren't any bubbles.

Anyways, I really enjoyed this, even though I didn't get extremely far or/and completely understood the concept xD ;-;

MadNukin responds:

The game is 100% complete, you just need to find the way to finish it.
