Newgrounds has been hacked in the past, don't know how long its been since the last time something like this happened though. You can read more about that here: https://newgrounds.fandom.com/wiki/Hacking_and_Phishing
Chances are, Newgrounds will survive it. Seems like the hackers just want attention from what I can tell and have took whatever vulnerable accounts they can find. At this point, I'm feeling like it might be a good idea for Newgrounds to enter planned maintenance and try to fix things while the site is in an offline state. Maybe also seeing where sitewide security can be improved, and getting the site audited by pentesters.
IMO, the statements the hackers are making do not sound like "winning" to me. Of course, you already have to live a sad life to hack NG of all places.

to be honest i don't even think it's a NG Related Hacking i just think that we are unfortunate to be in a wave of users that where hacked in general that just so happen to all be on Newgrounds
