In-depth review

In response to what Dahmoe wrote, I don't think that the flag on the instruction screen that says "Bad English" is meant to insult the English by calling us "Bad". More likely it's just the author admitting that his grasp of the English language is bad. In fact Dahmoe is the one calling somone a "French Fagget ass retard" so what the hell does that say about him?"

With that out the way, I wanted to say that I'm very impressed by this game. It manages to be fun and addictive the way all good build-up-your-character RPG type games are. It's also quite silly and funny in a good way (The way the goblins laugh, the sound the boy makes when he wins a fight, the way the wolf-man shrinks and whimpers when you beat him...), but it's also got some other merits you don't usually see in this type of game.
First off, it actually involves making some careful choices in your character's training, and in what attacks to use at what times during a battle. Unlike many games in which it's easiest just to put all your experience points into the best attack or spell and then use it all the time, in this game it can also be effective to have a wide variety of skills, and the best way to build up your character is far from obvious.
Some of the moves even require timing and reflexes (Rather than just pressing the attack button all the time), which keeps combat interesting.

The game was a good challenge, because winning the game required a degree of thought and concentration. All the same, it didn't take all that long to come up with a winning strategy once I put my head to it, and an ultra-hard option to extend the life of the game would have been much appreciated.

A very unique twist on an old concept-keep up the good work!
