too repetitive
overall the game was not bad but I wasn't able to change sectors, everytime i finish a game, a new map of the sector appears and it seemed like i had to start all over again -.-

So repetitive it's hard to be fun.
Epsilon Strain is a refreshing zombie game for a while, and by a while I mean the first 10 minutes. After you finally realize that the bulk of this game is moving around and clicking you start to realize how boring this game really is. The shopping system would be fun if it wasn't so easy to exploit. You do not even have to repeat levels in order to have way more than a sufficient amount to buy the best gear each sector. On top of that, the modded chip system is just as bad. You usually will use the same mod chip as they do not scale that much in terms of quality. It would be a much more fun game if there were not just more mods, but BETTER mods, more upgrades in general, a more variety of enemy, and maybe even an experience system. That would be a nice twist on things I would suspect. All in all, the game is too repetitive to maintain that initial sense of freshness and you will most likely become bored after a good 10 minutes. The difficulty should also be increased as it was way too easy and games that are not only repetitive but not challenging can not compete with gamers looking for a thrill.

it was good yet lacks excitement there was no thrill to it...the rooms were a bit confusing it would be cool without the room stages..though it has good graphics...
Credits were messed up
The credits thing was messed up because i couldn't unlock anything and i had like 8k! WTF! Anyways amazing graphics, enemies were challenging to a point, and they should start in different areas, not just in the middle of the screen. I would also like to see a better variety of them too. only 3? Thats kinda sad, at least 6 next time. the music was pretty good, if a bit repeative*. Also next time make different shape of the rooms cause otherwise its serious dejavue. Overall 5/5 9/10. If you amke a next one and fix these things, you could have an 11/5 game pasted on ur ass.

one word: BORING!
honest to the good lord its boring as heck... too easy... the only challenge was the "suprise" zombies (I.E. new zombies to fight) plus what the heck with all the padlocks? hell if its like what marcusrox said for it being too short WHY THE HECK PUT UP PADLOCKS? BS cus yeh cant use everything besides what you got (unless theres more i didnt get past difficulty 6) game was more to fail then i thought.
some tips of improvement: no more padlocks otherwise your cheezing the player off on good stuff. why only drop chip addons for guns instead of HP or armour or gun energy cus thats does not make it at all exciting for the player to customize and on a side note.... unchangeable chip add-ons? wow and i thought tech got better not worse :/ so yea make it so you dont have to chose one and stick with thats good for using money but... it pissed me off at points :/.
now for the levels: randomized locations are you serious? thats not exciting... whats exciting is actually EXPLORING the entire place not this pick area and get there with no trouble :/ also in battle thats not really what i would call utter greatness... box fights? wow and i thought tabel top RTS was bad :/ if i were you id take away the only move box to box instead of activating something to get out of the place... nothing is more boring then pointless fighting.
overall: -dusts long list of other things that could be improved- you boyz need some new battle styles and etc. cus this game isnt my idea of "epic awsomeness" take my advice and change what i mentioned and take the change advice from all these other players... i bet they are a bit cheezed off too.
scorez: 3/10 one of the lowest ive given yet... and i havent gave a 0 yet lol.
