Speaking as the son of home-ec teacher, I assure the thing to watch out for is the oven time/temp. Oh - and it seems every year you read about some genius who leaves a pound of ancient raw chuck sitting in the sun for 7 hours, then he makes hamburgers. Probably the same sort who goes to Yellowstone and tries feeding a bear mouth to mouth.
