Good game but 10 people for spotter ?

I used to play the heck outta this game back in the day. Solid zombie themed tower defense game with a more open playing field than the typical bloonz style td game where all the enemies are on a single track. The game operates on three basic resources, ammo, wood and people. You use wood to build gun towers, resource depots, and barricades. The resource depots are used to store resources and build the backbone of your distribution network. All of the resources must move through the depots which can end up effecting the pathfinding of your survivors if you don't have them placed in an optimal way. You can upgrade guns with wood which improves their range, while accuracy is affected by the number of survivors assigned to a gun tower, requiring eleven for full accuracy. Your goal is to gather resources and survivors from buildings and wreckage by placing workshops on them, then allowing your survivors to gather and return the resources to your depot network. Zombies react to nearby survivors, noises, and zombies will begin to move and attack your survivors in waves on a timer. Zombies will also come across a bridge in waves with the timer. Depending on your difficulty setting, there will be one to four bridges the zombies can cross from. Your ultimate goal is to detonate the bridges to prevent the endless waves of zombies and you win after isolating the island and killing all zombies.

The good: Neat open world zombie tower defense game with random map mode, campaign, and a map builder feature that once upon a time was prolific with fun, challenging community made maps.

The bad: Limited building options, only one type of gun, sometimes the survivors hesitate to move around the depot network which makes setting up between waves difficult. Short campaign and random maps are all very similar, limiting the replayability of the game. Now that the community map feature is offline, a plethora of fun creative and challenging maps are lost to the ages which further limits the entertainment potential of this game.

Overall, while nostalgia has brought me back to this game about a decade after I last played it, and though it does hold some nostalgic value to me personally, the loss of the community server aspect severely limits the entertainment potential to only a couple of rounds.

I had a lot of fun with this, if the campaign was more interesting and longer I would love this game but it just felt short.

Only thing shattered is my immersion. The game worked fine until so-called Endless mode. Then it started saying I had negative numbers of survivors, so I couldn't tell what my actual numbers were. About 5 depots into the Endless map, suddenly everything sped up to insane speeds for no apparent reason. I'm not sure if this was a programming bug or a UI failure (as in there's some sort of non-obvious 3x speed control I toggled without knowing it,) but either way, it's a complete deal-breaker.

Update: Also, zombies just randomly appear in the middle of green areas for no reason. You know what? From now on, I'm deducting another half star every time I find a bug. This is just ridiculous.

Now This is my favorite! Really cool game! and now i made it!
