Good potential, terrible lag problem

Lag is a huge problem with your game. I want to enjoy this game but whenever is night/raining or i played for 5 minutes the game build up lag to ridiculous level.

The game became completely unplayable when i reached "monster island", so i gave up on it. And it is why you lost points.

Can i equip the armor without the helmet? (tried to but it never allowed me ) If not.. whats the point of have these as separete items? Buy as a single set?

Nice graphics. Nice music. Zelda inspiration is obvious and well done. Would like to be able to find health items that replenish HP on-the-spot, like the apples but heal you when you find them.

UknownXL responds:

Yes you can. You can simply press a in the equipment screen while over an item to equip or unequip an item.

Potential, but deal-breaking glitch

So I have been playing for 10-15 minutes, building up money and progressing through the story. I get to the first shop I can buy armor at, on the second island. I don't have enough to purchase all of the upgrades, so what I choose is important. I purchase the life and armor. When I buy the armor, the character lift a bomb above his head! I thought it was just a visual glitch, but alas, I have no armor and the same 9 bombs I had before. This wasted a huge percentage of my time early in the game, which kills it for me. Its too bad, because I was having fun in a game that has a lot going for it.

UknownXL responds:

Thats very odd. Can you pm me what exactly happened?

Extremely frustrating movement glitch.

People in the reviews seem to be interpreting it as lag, but it is not lag; it's a movement glitch. For some reason orders are frequently delayed in this game. So, if you release the arrow key, you keep moving, or if you press the arrow key you don't move, or if you're running and you run into a wall your character may keep trying to run into it for 2-3 seconds, even after you change keys. In the most glaring example for me, on the second screen, I killed a monster and the opening to the south lost it's lightning barrier. I pressed up for a split second before pressing down, but my character ran up and up, traveling across half the screen before changing directions. I know it's not lag because the character is still moving smoothly otherwise.

The easiest way I found to induce the movement glitch was to swing the sword while running, at night while it's raining (like on your very first quest). About 1/3rd of the time, the game will glitch and it will take a couple seconds before you swing.

I don't think this is a flash problem; I play lots of flash games and I've never seen anything like this before. Movements are usually much crisper.

UknownXL responds:

Its lag, its not a movement glitch. The lag is caused by a mix of graphics and everything that's going on on the screen at one time.

WTF!?!?!?!

Dude!?!?! Why does it
A. Keep opening up "Next Games .com all of the time,
B. Keep sticking
and C. Whenever I try to fix the sticking, it just opens up another game guide window!?
Also, looks like a cheap knockoff of Zelda!
WTF!?!?!?!?!
