Epic Game

No words to say, rating 9 just for the resolution system (fake pixels). Congratz

Interesting.

Though I have to say, your comment on the whole which-character-is-easiest is a little mistaken.

Warrior is the most challenging to play as, with his low speed AND spirit. Attack and Defense mean almost nothing when half the monsters WILL kill you in close-combat.
I never beat it with Warrior actually either >.>;

Rogue was by far the most fun to play. High speed means you can move twice to almost everything's one move. I also found that Magic Mirror was amazing for Rogue, as the clone is not only another target if you need to get away, but you can double-team monsters with it.
Final spell set: 1:Shadowstep 2:Shadowstep 3:Charm 4:Sleep 5:Magic Mirror
(Monsters do NOT wake up with hit during Sleep btw. So, on the minotaurs, I would Sleep, Mirror behind him, then Backstab twice and run away while my mirror died, then Charm if I didn't get far enough away, rinse and repeat.)

Mage was also easy, though the lack of Life and Defense made him pretty hard to survive the Sorcery Elementals. But the spell recharge made him very nice on long-range damage.
Final Spell Set: 1:Fireball 2:Fireball 3:Charm 4:Heal 5:Shadowstep
(Basic idea was to nuke, and run. I never got to use Heal :/ Didn't read that it recharged on XP. If I had, it would be Sleep there. Mirror is about useless on Mage because the Mirror doesn't pass spells to the clone, Melee Mage on this game = suicide. Also, for those who don't know, Polymorph ALSO doesn't pass spells, so if you change a Minotaur into, say, a spider for example, it will have the stats like Life and Attack etc, but NOT the slow spell. It also won't have its OWN spell either.)

Overall I like the game and its concept. But a little work on the curve for Warrior, and maybe make it a little longer to increase the difficulty for everyone else. That's about my only complaint, really.

good game, sadly too easy

I played mage and on the first floor I almost 1 shot everyone. Then when I found the second fire spell I could just spam fire and run back a bit and do it again. One or two fires were enough to kill almost anyone and if I ever got swarm I could just shadow walk the spam again and heal spam etc...

Another flaw is that I spend most of my time staring at the map while moving around and only looked at the grid when I had to kill enemies (with 1 fireball) next time make a minimap in side of screen. Also many times I got an item and it just says I already got it and it was gone, gone forever... what happens to it? Why not make a shop to sell items and buy potion and stuff. Another flaw is no mana. Like I said you just have to run back and forth a bit to use your spell again and with it one or two shot enemies and you have 9 health potion and god know how many other potion stacked there is no real danger and it just gets boring.

I died once because my key got stuck and I kept running into a wall and a werewolf messed me up so bad I had to respawn and killed him with a fireball... it was quiet tragic.

Still its a fun game for a while but nothing to exiting.

The only threat to me was the chaos, because they also master the art of the fire spam. Though I just turned them into spider and was k.

Also there is no real story... sure there is something about a minotaur but you never get to see him to the very end. In fact there aren't any real bosses.

What is gold used for??? Just for points??? Why not just have a point system that gives you points every time you find loot or open a door and all the fun stuff.

Woah

This is a really well polished little game! I sure still have a lot of stuff to explore, but I agree with the guy who said there is no saving by design... since it'd only take away the tension!

no bosses =(

Apart from the last minotaur i killed having about 50 health there was no boss fight, which made me sad.
Mage with fireball fireball speed sleep charm.
by the last area i had enough spirit so my speed cooldown was off at the same time it ran out.
Sleep is based on the opponents turns, so more speed means i got off 4 fireballs during 1 sleep.
overall pretty good, a save, and a boss would have been awesome.
