I love this movie. The animation and style looked great, the setting spectacular and perfect for the apocalypse. The expressions are amazing, and the storyline is really not something you would see every day, but it could actually happen. And the bit of humor gave it a nice touch too, not even jokes about sexual innuendos or anything, it was just.. funny! Thumbs up to you, I loved this. Touched my heart.
Amazing balance of humor and horror, as well as a successful blend of two classic tropes: Boy&Dog with Zombie Apocalypse. Their escape at the end seemed a little too easy, but most zombies aren't known for their tactics, and the characters had definitely earned at least a small victory.
I think it would have fit the tone a little better if, right as they burst out the doors making their escape, some zombies flanked them right outside and ripped them to shreds and it showed the dog's face whimpering as he watched the boy screaming while getting savaged.
