Played and loved the first one, and I'm definitely loving this one!! Hey! Is it possible for you in your busy schedule to port this to the Wii U eShop? That would be so awesome and would DEFINITELY buy and recommend to a friend!
The good. Nice graphics, simple game play, nothing overly complex. Good level layout, and nothing too hard like pixel perfect jumps.
Cons: Lots of small things, from quests that say 'do this' without telling you what it is, to some things seem VERY obscure with no one mentioning them short of you walking around bumping into everything. Why is walking into this wall that has absolutely no indication anything here, going to reveal XP... but wait you need to be able to break bricks to get it... if i can find the spot again.
Example. 'Find fireflies'... I cant find any... yet they are an achievement. I've walked over every inch of map... yet can't find all the brothers.
Another example of confusion is the achievement :Sacrifice xp munchers'. well those are one of the monsters yes? do you have to stand around and wait for one to wander the right direction? its not like I can whip out a pokeball and catch one... The quest screen seems like it wil lgive you infromation about the ques.. but, its no details. just 'do this'... very confusing. .... nevermind. Just had one spawn for me... so had to wait for the correct mob to spawn and have the monster give me RNG inside RNG... yay.
Definitly a good demo for the game... makes me think might look at the game if it goes on sale, but the issues i've seen, from blatent lack of guidance to outright confusion (I'm looking at you fireflies).. just seem to hold it back from great to good.

Xp muncher and forest flies are randomly spawned in forest encounters. Stick with it and they'll show up. The sacrifice part refers to the altar in the forest.
I know it's just a demo, but man I love this game!
