Reviews for "Swords and Souls"

I'll give this game a 5-star. My only caveat is that when you go to the arena at low levels you can choose what level you wish to participate in. If you are at level 25 and feel you need to grind you can go back to 20 or whatever. Once you get to Survival mode it takes you to your last checkpoint, you don't have the option of going to a lower survival level to grind. I am currently at level 195 but thought the option to go to a lower Survival Mode level to grind would make the game better. I think a lot of people just quit when they can't grind at a lower level. You need the option to work on different strategies and most people don't like to grind if you constantly die. The solution to that is the ability to grind at a lower level and then be able to see if you are stronger to advance but this game currently lacks that.

SoulGame responds:

Thanks for this nice inputs! I'll be sure to include that kind of option in the sequel.

...........I wanna have your babies...

I focused way to hard during the accuracy training, got 437 combo ;). This game is so addicting and fun but so repetitive at the same time. The secrets from the mushroom make it even better. The little things you can do along side, like build a house, or find the lost children. My only problem is that in training if you get to a really high combo the game slows down and starts to lag. Other than that perfect game.

SoulGame responds:

Cool feedback, much appreciated! The sequel will fix both repetitive aspect and lag :)

Incredible game! Nice art, simple but addictive gameplay, and a nice sense of progression. Also it's very polished!

I want to Support this game as much as i can
this is what flash games should be like
not bad Point&Click Games with Horrible voice acting
not High score games
not potentially good games that were developed in 3 days
but this a full game with an adventure
not becoming repetitive or too hard after time
it almost has the quality of a steam game and still its here
keep those games up
they really are the bright light of newsgrounds

that said good luck for the future.
