Reviews for "Elevator"

ok i gave up at like 43. and after 48, which requires rng just to be able to beat, I know it won't save my progress, but I've had enough for today. I feel the controls could use to be tighter for some of what's required, but that could be most of the challenge actually. Ultimately, I think it's a good game, but I'd add a mute button, that heartbeat gets annoying after a while.

my controls don't work for some reason. I don't know if of this info helps, but I am using a chrome book.

really neat game !

Finished! It was tough!

It's one thing to make a generic "hard" "retro" platformer with lazy graphics, not even barebones gameplay, and forgettable soundtrack. It's another thing to also make it utter torture to play. This was complete and utter sensory abuse to play. I gave up a quarter in; I don't even have epilepsy, but the flickering blocks and shaky screen legitimately made me feel like I was going to have a seizure, and I wouldn't be surprised if this could give someone a seizure.

There was no warning about this problem, nor was there an option to turn it off. I came here expecting yet another mediocre retro game frontpaged instead of something more deserving; instead I got a game that actually was painful to play. I save this rating for stuff that actually deserves it due to how strong it is, but ultimately, the migraine is enough of a justification for this, and then some.

Zero out of ten. This was literally painful to sit through.
