Good to know that all you need to keep the presidency is to give people food and stadiums...depressingly realistic gameplay for the win! :C 5 stars for the gameplay, but -1 for making me depressed.

It's a fun game with nice retro graphics, but it's very easy to get re-elected and make everyone love you.
Step 1: Start with Mild Punishments, No Food at All, Normal Control. Mild Laws.
Step 2: Put your entire budget into Infrastructure until it's 100%.
Step 3: Maintain your 100% Infrastructure and put any remaining budget into Happiness.
Step 4: Once your Happiness passes your Popularity, you will slowly gain Popularity as long as your Happiness stays above your Popularity.
Step 5: Once both Happiness and Popularity are at 100%, start putting points into Security, along with maintaining your Infrastructure, Happiness, and Popularity.
Step 6: Once everything is at 100%, start slowly bumping up your food amounts each turn until you reach A Lot of Food. You'll have less budget, but there's no need for it at this point.
Step 7: Maintain your 100%'s until you're tired of playing.
Pretty easy game. Start by setting hard punishments and hard laws, with normal food, no control, and free elections. Sort-of like how our founding fathers started things.
For stats, maintain everything but gradually push infrastructure up by the maintain points, plus 5 more each turn to get it to 100. Then continue maintaining, with focus on happiness. Then popularity, then security. Do it right, and you'll have 100 on all stats, and run an excess of budget every turn. I'm running on my 25th year now, and wondering if there's an end.
Could use some more content, or variables... the whole thing feels a bit hit-and-miss now.
That said, I did great by first making everyone really happy and becoming hugely popular. (happiness and popularity 100%)
Then I became a total dictator and raised fear, investing all budget in maintaining happiness and popularity. In no time I could set everything to normal and I had a fearful, crime-free population with 100% scores in everything. But like others here I got kicked out of the white house after 44 years. I had a hard time maintaining popularity all of a sudden but still had 85% when I was replaced.

Seems like it could use more content but was a fun game nice artstyle and graphics and all the medals are nice, These games seem like they can be simple but you really pushed the limits on this particular one and thats a big plus and really enjoyed reviewing this one as it was a solid game you added in some nice depth too with the extras, anyways nice game here.
