Reviews for "ZS Dead Detective - Walls can bleed"

I loved this installment of the series as much as the previous ones. keep up the good work and I hope any after this are just as good.

Muja responds:

Thank you a lot, more episodes are on the way :)

not bad funny and a bit fun

Muja responds:

Glad you had fun!

Great game, I love this series.

Have you thought about bringing this to mobile? I think it would do very well!

Muja responds:

Thank you!
And you're right, point & click games in general translate well to mobile. Plus, I've never tried it, but Adobe Air should be able to export the games for Ios and Android without big changes to the code, so I'll definitely try that route, too, once I launch the game on Steam

Ha, I got the max score on my first attempt.

Muja responds:

Good job!

MAJOR BUG ALERT!

After you get into the house with barred door you must speak with the person inside that house before you open the windows! If you open the window before speaking with the character you will miss an important clue that will not let you finish the game.

Now for the review:
Great and good things:

- Excellent plot.
- Excellent characters.
- Excellent graphics.
- Good sounds that could only be better if there were real voice acting.
- Multiple endings

All of this left an excellent first impression that made me wish to give this game 5 stars, but alas, here comes some bad and ugly things:

- The game breaking bug that forces you to start over if you get unlucky
- Only one save spot that is to add to the injury by default occupied by autosave, that doesn't allow you to return to previous stage if you encounter the bug.
- After you win, the savegame doesn't work anymore. So if you want to see a diffferent ending you mast replay the game from very start. As fun as the fialogues and characters are everything gets tedious if forced to be replayed at least threetimes for three endings, plus a fourth time if you encountered the bug or even more if you didn't collect all the clues.

So three serious minuses. Reducing a half star for each of them sounds about right. So final score is 3.5 which is very sad for a game that deserves all 5, but these technical problems really spoil the fun.

I am glad however that I discovered this series and this author. The game itself is just what I was wishing for. Will be playing all your games and looking forward to your steam release.

Muja responds:

Thank you a lot for your detailed review, I'm always grateful for constructive criticism!
I've just checked and you're right about those bugs, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately I test the games alone, and ore bug or two are bound to escape me. I'll try to do better next time.
But I'm glad you liked the concept, and if you haven't already, there's another chapter of this series that you could try (it's called "Zombie Society - Dead Detective" and you'll find it here on Newgrounds)

Thanks again!
