Reviews for "HE BEAT HER."

Neat idea, terrible format. Doing one action and seeing a fail screen every time, including the act of thinking makes for a boring and repetitive loop. Also, having a game begin at the end of a case makes the "remembering" of important things a really tacky forced mechanic. Would have been better if the game had at least prefaced itself with that basic info.

Neat little game with interesting mechanics, pretty well done considering it's a 48-hour game.

It's a very inaccurate depiction of court cases, though. For starters, you can't introduce new evidence while the jury is deliberating - especially if that evidence consists of medical records and personal text messages that you stole from the accuser. You'd end up disbarred and likely serving a longer jail sentence than your client. Other minor details too - I'm not sure if this is a criminal trial, a civil trial, or a restraining order hearing. And we seem really unprepared as an attorney - client might have basis for a mistrial based on incompetence.

Basically, this scenario would never play out in a real court. But as a game - it's very entertaining.

Ah yes :/ I hoped the fact that you could steal stuff would alert players it isn't wholly accurate :/ Will research for future games, thanks!

really great game with a great storyline and great artwork but i think you should give more info on the backstory first before the game starts. like what do you know about your client or have a mini chat session with your client before it starts so that you can get to know more about your client or even a file that explains the case you are working on where all of it is time and give them a limit amount of time. also the game explains that you have 5 min break as a recess but i feel like it was not 5 mins. and you could only do one thing during then when in truth i feel that a lot of things can happen in 5 mins. so you can add like small details that happen during the recess like your client needing to go to the washroom but i also understand that you might not be able to do that as a result of lack of experiences or knowledge on how to create a game. so all in all i think its a great game but there is still room for improvement.

Great game, loved the game atmosphere.
I think game would had been way better if you added multiple choices instead of guessing actions. I would never been able to go far without the walkthrough. Typing to see all the possible choices was annoying.

spent a lot of time stuck on finding the right valid choice, and took me out of the game experience. Try and make it like multiple choice or as mass effect did, I know you were trying to allow people to have as much freedom as they could but not everyone has the same thoughts or ideas.
