Reviews for "AIM - In That Moment"

Very atmospheric and tragic. The intro with the quiet piano and the vocals over it set the right mood. I like how the strings and brass section have such an dramatic build up. Perhaps I would like it even better if the piano also started to play louder as the song progresses, and then play quiet again at the end. But that's my opinion. Overall not much here to improve. Keep it up.

I love the spacey and calm vibe of the intro. You set up the atmosphere/mood here really well. It’s a little slow to develop, but the texture is absolutely beautiful. The vocals that start bleeding in at around 1:30 are gorgeous. Same with the strings at about 1:45. Nice use of panning on the strings as well. What a rich sound you’ve produced here. This is one of the rare cases when I thoroughly enjoy pieces with a single climax or refrain. I thought the outro was a bit rushed, especially given the lengthy intro, but overall this piece tells me you’re a serious competitor in it for the long haul. Keep up the great work, man!

9.5/10

A masterpiece! This piano is so soulful and carries so much emotion with it... really makes you feel inside... despite being a slow piece, it never feels like it trudges on; the listener will certainly share their thoughts with this piece! Truly lovely indeed!
By the way, what plug-in do you use for piano?

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really wanted to capture that moment of sadness that everyone can relate to in some way. The piano I used is called "The Giant" for Kontakt.

Man, there's some that I've been meaning to go through and relisten thoroughly and this is one is one of the most rewarding ones.

I view music as a language of emotion and this one speaks a a thousand words easily. If I weren't such a manly man free of emotional range, there may have been a tear as I was listening to this (all kidding aside, it's easy to get a little teary eyed with this one).

Props to you good sir.

AceMantra responds:

Thank you so much for the kind words! You're right about music being a language of emotion. It helps people relate to each other in a unique way. Emotionally moving and inspiring people is what I love to do most.

Don't worry, even manly men are allowed to shed a single man-tear. :P

Congratulations hitting first on the popular!!! >:)

AceMantra responds:

Thanks! I never thought it would happen but it did.
