Reviews for "AIM - In That Moment"

An absolute masterpiece, perfectly suited to the art it represents. Thoroughly enjoyed the listen. No complaints. Tried and true chord progression though it may present, it doesn't present that progression in a way that comes across as cliche, trying too hard.

AceMantra responds:

Thanks for the review! I did worry about the chord progression being too repetitive or cliche. I wanted a little repetition though, like persistent negative thoughts during times of deep sadness.

Quite possibly the first beautiful track I've heard from Newgrounds. Tall statement I know, but I don't get out much.

AceMantra responds:

Thanks for the kind words. There's a lot of great stuff here on Newgrounds though, you just have to dig a little bit to find them. ;)

Congratulations hitting first on the popular!!! >:)

AceMantra responds:

Thanks! I never thought it would happen but it did.

Man, there's some that I've been meaning to go through and relisten thoroughly and this is one is one of the most rewarding ones.

I view music as a language of emotion and this one speaks a a thousand words easily. If I weren't such a manly man free of emotional range, there may have been a tear as I was listening to this (all kidding aside, it's easy to get a little teary eyed with this one).

Props to you good sir.

AceMantra responds:

Thank you so much for the kind words! You're right about music being a language of emotion. It helps people relate to each other in a unique way. Emotionally moving and inspiring people is what I love to do most.

Don't worry, even manly men are allowed to shed a single man-tear. :P

A masterpiece! This piano is so soulful and carries so much emotion with it... really makes you feel inside... despite being a slow piece, it never feels like it trudges on; the listener will certainly share their thoughts with this piece! Truly lovely indeed!
By the way, what plug-in do you use for piano?

AceMantra responds:

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really wanted to capture that moment of sadness that everyone can relate to in some way. The piano I used is called "The Giant" for Kontakt.
