Well, we've gotten 28 tracks submitted to the Round of 32! That's not terrible by any account, though @Malifex, @larrynachos, and @keepwalking will be missed.
Of course this ultimately means that @midimachine (who currently hates music), @McGorilla42, and @Spadezer go unchallenged and will all end up winning by default. I apologize to each of you, but it looks as though you will be participating in the Round of 16. But don't worry! Scores will be forthcoming by the end of the week, and you can all request feedback from me or any of the other judges via PM.

Yeah, we've got plenty of time, so no worries there! As for myself, I need some serious downtime before diving headfirst into the audio current and being swept away. For now eat, drink, and be merry! For tomorrow we judge.
Exploding microwaves and water outages sound intense! And not in a good way. Seems like there's always some fresh new hell waiting around each new corner...

So to keep alive the torch previously held by @gadogry, I've tried my hand at an analysis of the R1 scores, with a focus on score normalization and what might've changed as a result. Tbh this is mildly nerdy and isn't everyone's cup of tea, but hopefully it'll appeal to anyone out there who might find this kind of thing interesting. Anyways, good luck to all for your R2 results! :D

ATTENTION ALL CHALLENGERS!
We have an important announcement that applies to absolutely everyone in the NGADM Round of 32:
Due to several scheduling conflicts for our judges, the results will be posted one full day later, on August 7th. Without doing this, it would be impossible for every track to be scored by each of our judges, so please be extra patient with us as we compile the scores, calculate inverse variables, and plot a course through the infinite possibilities of time and space.
In addition to the extra day of judging, there will also be an extended deadline for the Round of 16!
I mean, hey...it's only fair, right?
Once everything is up and running, the new countdown clock will be set for 11:59:59 pm EDT on August 21st.
Oh, and don't forget that you can all be working on those Round of 16 tracks already!
