This is something that just came to me, but since this thread appears to be based on who's got the best chance of getting 10000 in Experience, Blam/Protect Points and Posts, shouldn't the people who have 10000 in two of those categories be separated into a higher class over all the others?
Well, the bulk of the conversation that's been taking place IN this thread, and one of the most interesting thing about the 10,000+ stat people to me that prompted me to make this list, is indeed that there are only a few people with 10,000+ in more than 1 category, and none in all 3 categories.
But the point of the LIST is that there's few enough people with just 10,000+ in 1 category alone, and that's what the list is a list of.
I mean, take fixit for example. He's only in the #3 slot because of his Blam/Protect Points. Judging by his other stats in this list, it's extremely doubtful that he will ever make it to the point where he has 10000 in all three categories. So should having tons in one stat be able to put you up higher on this list?
Since he never posts, yeah, that's a safe bet. He'll get to 10,000 exp, though.
Like I've been over already, the list is ranked by total points. I take it you'd prefer it was ranked by number of 10,000+ stats and then subranked by total points. So, IOW, it would be:
Nemesis
Shrapnel
Biteme
ramagi
etc.
I'm just trying to take this on all sides. Then again, keep in mind that there may be a conflict of interest here. I'm just going to come right out and say it; if you do change the list based on this, I will be higher up there. However, I still think that that would make more sense than having someone who has tens of thousands in one stat dominating this list based on one category when the list is based on three. That last statement wasn't directed at anyone in particular either. Just stating my opinion. The final decision is still with gfoxcook...
I do see your point. While it's not the ONLY purpose of the list (the purpose of this list, simply put, is to celebrate any and all stats over 10,000)... a person with 10,000 b/p, 10,000 exp, and 10,000 posts would certainly have hit the height of this list...
but with their 30,000 total points, would they deserve to be ranked ahead of ramagi if she had gotten to, say, 40,000 b/p, 10,000 exp, and 2000 posts?
Even though her postcount will be far from 10,000 when she hits 10,000 exp, her total will be over 40,000 by then, and that's a massive shitload of stat points.
Eh.
If nothing else, I'll tell you what. When I update this list the next time, I'll put some sort of * or boldface or italics for you, Nemesis, and Shrapnel to set you apart from the rest of the list.
But I think I'll still be ranking it by total points. It's the most logical way to do it. While balanced users with closer to 10,000 in all three stats are certainly more... I dunno... enviable, I guess, than someone who has 50,000 of one and 0 of the other two... it IS a stat list in the end. Just like you or I may respect someone with 5000 blams and 5000 protects and thus a perfectly balanced blam/save ratio... but he's simply going to be lower down on the top 50 b/p list than the 20,000+ combined people, including 15,000+ blammers and 5,000- saviors.
