This game is fun.
i played this game probably 6 times and i finally beat it.If any one knows any cheats that would help me a lot.

Greatly underrated.
I have played this game about 20 times now, and i just finally beat it, so here is what i thought:
Things i liked: Great retro art style, the ability to upgrade, deployment was not hampered by needing to control your guys.
Things i like not so much: It was a pretty solid game all round, although the flamethrowers were well done (no pun intended), the particles that they used were not really suited for this kinda game. They looked out of place, and caused 99% of the lag that was going on. Also, the hide mouse command should have been on a 'on(enterfame)' thing, for those of us who like to right click and stuff... im retarded like that.... oh, and the music would cut out at the end of some of the games... Yea... These are small things that hardly had any impact on the game, but having them fixed would make it alot better.
I cant see a sequel being better, as this game was balanced almost perfectly.

I played this loads of times now, and until I stopped putting my faith in machine gun turrets, I was getting my a$$ handed to me at about level 11/12 when those green arrows start appearing. I found it too hard to upgrade the machine gun turrets in time, they are basically pea shooters unless level 3 or above, and the money doesn't roll in quick enough to get a decent defence going.
Forget machines gun turrets, only buy about 6 or so....just to kill enough bad guys to buy a flamethrower. At $200, I found them invaluable, as they seem to be 10x more effective than machine guns.
I bought mainly flamethrowers and Ice cannons to slow enemy progression-with afew of those Light towers to back them up.
Ultimately, its all about holding out, seeing as there is no way to refil your health. period. (I was on 4 health for about 21 levels!) Also the 20 secs between attacks gets exhausting, as the screen in never empty of enemies.

Nice game.
It gets way too easy once you can afford a bunch of ice towers. I had about 15 of them that could fire on the entrance, and they totally stopped anything coming through. It took about 10 minutes to kill the last boss with 20 ice towers and a single upgraded void tower.

i was on easy. last level. about fifty flamethrowers and ice things. AND THE GOD DAMN BOSS GOD DAMN KILED ME RITE WHEN IT WAS ABOUT TO GOD DAMN DIE! BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway tht was a gr8 game, but not origianal
