For a first animation its pretty good. You have skill to animate smoothly and sync with music. I hope you send more submissions to NG. I want to see your skill increase over time. Sometimes I wish I could say more but I lost my words.

art work was excellent! But the main problem that i see is that your characters don't move humanly. What i mean is that most of the time your characters bodies are stationary. If you have to I find that it helps to sort of model the poses in real life to get an idea of how it should look. That's about it. Good luck on future submissions

I think i could look at this from 2 view points
1.Some one in your class who, like you said, its very hard to know whether or not you liked it
2.Someone who understands anime and what you were trying to achieve...
Luckily for you, im going for the latter :)
I love lostprophets and this is a great song. There were times when you synced everything really well. My only gripe is the use to repeated scene. Other than that, i amend you on the work you put into this.

pros
- Well drawn characters
- Well displayed emotions, i can actually tell what the characters are feeling clearly
- well syncronized
- Nice use of symbolism, i can actually figure out what the song is telling by only watching the visual.
Cons
- oversimplified backgrounds, compared to characters, i hate to say, they suck.
- some repetitive scences. Not a biggie, but it mislead ppl to think that there weren't much effort put into the flash to the full extent.
- Confusing intro: the backward-running scene. I know, i know, you metioned it in the "author's comment" but, it's kinda confusing. First thing what my brother said after he came into my room and looked at the scene was "why is she running backward?"
Anyways, this is quite a piece of work. I can see much effort in this flash. Only somethings needs to be tweaked so it shouldn't be a huge problem.

I liked this.
It must have been a long nine months, but I think it paid off.
I really liked the song, and the whole tying in with the clock and friends seemed really nice. I also liked how it flashed back to the past at intervals.
My main problem was the G.A.S. present, G.A.S. standing for "Generic Anime Syndrome". It didn't look bad, but it wasn't stylized. If you could find a more unique style, you could be really good.
Also, with the running, her head should be bobbing up and down. Having it remain perfectly level throughout her steps seems weird.
Still, fantastic job. Hope to see more!
