I really love it, great animations, great cast, awesome story!
But there is one thing i do not understand: Why are Karissa's eyes blanc? She doesn't seem to be blind... But nevertheless its very awesome!

I've gotten this question many times and I fully intend to explain all this and more in future episodes. For now, purely to satisfy all askers of this question I will say that the character Karissa is part of a race/species/type/mutation/WHATEVER of people that have the 'blank eyes' look. The whole story takes place in a future where there are ORDINARY humans, and then there are people like Karissa, which are the 'mutation' of humans, called LANTERNS. Lanterns have many traits that make them stand out from normal humans, just one of them being their white, empty eyes. Lanterns have the ability to blend in with normal folk in the daytime, when there's natural sunlight to light their eyes. Natural sunlight makes their pupils/iris visible, and they look totally normal. Unfortunately for Karissa, since she is living in a town that is constantly covered in darkness, whether it be rain clouds or just the night sky, her eyes are always blank. Ordinary humans tend to stay away from lanterns because they are considered dangerous, or 'the enemy'. Some people may have harsh grudges on these Lanterns. That's all I'll say! Now anyone who reads this won't be so surprised when it comes up in future episodes! Woop!
This was really great! Art/Animation was beautiful, but the story has me REALLY invested. Can't wait for part two!
