Reviews for "Sky Quest"

It could be good. But i can't give myself to put 5 stars. As someone who like to get 100% before going to the next stage, i find this.. annoying.

What do i mean? I'm talking about the "Monster-Wall that can only be destroyed though fireball"

3 time in a row, i get monster-wall that come in pair. So my mana regen can't keep up with the rate they spawn to.

I wish i could destroy these wall monster with normal shoot.

As mentioned, the blue eyeballs are my main hinderence in this game, too ... The reason for this is that the hitbox of you character is unclear. It is impossible to tell when a red shot will hit you and when it will not. Maneuvering here is really hard, to impossible.

I like the idea of these bullet-hell games, and the bosses i ve seen so far (till the dragon in the caves), in addition with the storyline make me want to play on. I ll see if i can manage to get through these hardships.

BerzerkStudio responds:

We just updated a new version (1.66) where the hero collision is much smaller. Hope this helps!

I sincerely enjoyed this game. It's been a long time since I played a game and actually had fun. Hats off to Berzerk Studio.

BerzerkStudio responds:

Thanks a lot! Makes my day :)

This game. I can't even make a broad statement about it, because it whipsaws so hard between fun, easy, and completely impossible. The blue eyes--whenever I see them come up in formation, I can be pretty sure I won't survive the level. I can drop a Meteor Swarm that won't kill a single one of them, I can shield (which only mitigates, and does not prevent damage? Boy, that feels like giving up, and wasting MP at the same time) and still get the tar beaten out of me, or I can cut a small hole in their line--hoping there aren't some projectiles hidden behind the 'background' stalactites--and accept that some levels just aren't meant to be 100-percented. That feels awful, no matter what I choose.

Maybe switching weapons would help. But that means I would ever have to have spare money. Which is just never going to be the case.

I want to like this game! I have liked it up until the cave-type sections with the blue eyes! It's super hard to keep liking it.

This game is great, but it is really frustrating that you don't get any EXP from losing. Once you get to the blue eyeballs levels, is pretty much impossible to dodge all the shots, and while the shield skill helps, you will die most of the time.
At that point, all you can do is grind for more gold to get a better weapon, and since you wont level up as well, you will waste a lot of time.
