Reviews for "Deterministic Dungeon"

Nothing can stop Malo Man!

Go for the gold!

I really liked the game. I've never seen a game like it before where every thing revolves around the random rolls. Very addicting. This could just be me but I seemed to always land on 0s. Could use some more bosses to brake it up a bit more or something else.

love it!

interesting concept

This game was overall average. The artwork was nice and the mechanics were easy and interesting, but here's what I found wrong:
1. It felt too grindy. I know that's part of the game, but it was tedious as hell going from one side of the floor to the other to get the chest or golden orb. Still, I can only speak for myself here.
2. The green totem is extremely OP. The game became too easy and uninteresting after I maxed it out, since it slowed down the RNG to the point where I was in control of everything. The complete opposite of what this game is about. I actually killed the final boss in five hits and OHKO'd every other boss after I maxed the green totem and got Bat'leth.
3. Very little replay value. There aren't any extra bosses or floors, and once you max the green totem all you need is Bat'leth and literally nothing else. Even the post-game dragon sword couldn't compete because Bat'leth does more damage, so it wasn't worth it.
4. I hated the weapons you get from the Golden Orb because they were all so weak. Even though you can get all these weapons from floor 1-1, they're very poor from the start and only decrease in value.
5. It's slightly inconvenient to have to heal and equip mid-battle, as everyone else has stated.
