Hey, you are back. And with an astonishing new puzzle game that is. Ready to get our detective sense tingling. I definitely enjoyed playing the first Zombie Society, even though I was rather confused by the ending, so normally I was very interested into playing it's prequel. Despite the different style it was a rather fun and enjoyable game, once you got used to it. The way the clues and deductions work to solve the case is very neat and interestingly made. The story of the zombie society, although it's still hard to grasp, becomes slightly more clear, and we found out more about detective Margh. I didn't really like the return to the dialogue option when question witnesses.. felt like I had to go an extra click through for no reason, as well as there seems to be an apparent bug that doesn't give you the achievement for the first deduction. You can see more about my ideas in the let's play video I made right here: https://youtu.be/ko1thR3SGN0 . This one is a bit longer than usual, and I actually didn't finish it right away, so you will have to stay tunned for part 2. All in all a very solid game... looking forward for more like this.

Hello! I've already watched your video yesterday, it's a lot of fun to see other people play a game you've made :D

It's true, I tend to leave some parts of the story and some rules of *my* zombie world to the player's interpretation, mainly because I don't like to over-explain. But just to clear a few doubts you had,
- zombies are dumb, but a better way to put it would be "dumber than when they were alive". An intelligent man that turns into a zombie would still be smarter than the average undead. That says a lot about Margh. Afterall, we know from the comics trilogy that he was one of the leaders of the "rebels faction" when he was alive, he had to be a resourceful man.
Plus, there's also the fact that zombies tend to become dumber over time (that's also why they feel the need to eat brains); Margh and Mitsk died recently, Ghvnn has been dead for centuries.
- Do zombies have psychiatrists? Yes, they have. Do they really need them? Of course not! Zombie Society mimicks the society of the livings, but it's pointless most of the time. You can consider this as an irrational attempt by the zombies to feel alive again. As a general rule, they tend to do what they did before they died, even though it no longer makes sense.

With that out of the way, I also want to reassure you that the next game will eliminate that extra click you need to interrogate a suspect about the evidence. I honestly don't know how I could miss such an evident design mistake.

Thank you for your review!
