Reviews for "Zombie Society - Dead Detective"

I really enjoyed this game. Good music, nice graphics and an interesting game mechanic. I like how you are able to make deductions. When talking to people there only seem to be a few options which start a conversation, the other options are a standard line for each character. I think it would be better if the characters had lines for every note, even if they amount to nothing in the end. For example, it would make sense for a detective to ask where the people where when the crime happened, so the time note could trigger 'where were you that night?' for every character. This way some characters could have aliases. It would also make sense if notes could be reused with other notes to make other deductions, although this could make things complicated.
Overall it is a great game and I look forward to more games like this in the future.

Firs of all, thanks a lot for your nice review! :)
Secondly, I think all your suggestions are very good ideas.

The reusable notes is something I thought about, too, but I came to the same conclusion: too complicated. Not only for me, design-wise, but for the players too.

More variety in dialogues and in interrogations, that's certainly something I need to consider.

Thank you for your nice review!

Okay, so I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical of this game when I clicked on it. But turns out it's really a fantastic game. The graphics are rough but, it's suited for the game. If you changed them in any way it would probably ruin it. The game play was easy enough, but it was challenging. If you think you've done it all go back and re-look at stuff. I'm giving it 4.5 stars because I did have some difficulty with the movement's they weren't as fluid as I hoped. getting him to go where i wanted him to took a few clicks but once i hit the right spot he moved..... may be an error on my part however. But over all I really enjoyed this game.

As a matter of fact, many of the issues you find in this game have been fixed in the following episodes. I assume you've alreay played them, but if you haven't, there are two more episodes to this series - and more are on their way!

Looks like there's another Italian around here...

I was honestly not expecting that much from this series, but oh boy was I wrong!
The premise is definitely interesting. Watching the small bits of how the world works is always enjoyable.
The game itself has solid gameplay, nice characters, funny dialogue, great art and SFX. It's also really challenging.
It has a few bugs, like the "One out of Two" medal (I have tried to fail only one of the deductions, but it really doesn't want to give it to me), or that old Firefox thing.
I absolutely love the way you portrayed the action in this game, and the way you get tips is nice too (Usually, I'd see the smart detective guy asking the dumb assistant for tips). Already played the Nine Deaths Cat, can't wait to play Death after death and Walls can bleed!
The only thing negative remark I have is the extremely tedious process of double-checking the evidence you found for each possible informer. I don't know if this is already a thing, but maybe you could add an option to mark certain evidence as NEW, or IMPORTANT?

Overall, this is a great game, and I can't wait to see what you can come up with.

And, as a matter of fact, the issues you've found have been addressed in the following episodes!
(especially the double-checking of evidence during an interrogation)
