Reviews for "Deal With the Devil"

Somewhat interesting.

A good take on the test your luck kind of games. The theme is alright, i guess, and does make for a good setup for this kind of game, The aesthetic is very strong and pleasing, with some good little pesky details. There could've been some stronger storytelling to further put an emphasis on it though.

Also, I don't quite get the balancing. Deals are an interesting feature, though they seem to be universally positive, so they can be used virtually without risk (there's wrath, but it's balanced by the divine intervention 'cept for the scenario below). 1/6 and 1/7 scenarios are a joke. It makes sense for them to appear at the end of the game, but not as early as the third damn round. Those were the main reason i was losing the games, and it only added to the frustration without putting an emphasis on the "Get lucky" part.

Overall, i've enjoyed the game for like 20 minutes. I think Orange Roulette was more original and interesting than this, though this will do. 7/10, 3/5.

Game stops working after pressing deal sometimes. I think it may be because I press it too fast.

Also I have "Get Behind Thee Satan!" but I never won.

Fun game, still trying to get all the way through. One oddity I found: I think I had five games remaining when the round gave me 4 salvations and 4 damnations. I hit the Deal button and heard the message "bad is good, good is bad." I expected it to do nothing, but instead it changed the round to 3 salvations and 5 damnations. I wasn't sure if that was an intentional possibility or a bug.

What's weird is a do feel a bit empty maybe it's I lost or maybe it's the Panic At The Disco but either way that's weird as frick.

I gave my soul to Satan.
ONE FUCKING GAME LEFT!
And I lost -_-
TWICE!
