I'm pinned into the bottom-right of the stone dungeon by a monster that prevents me from jumping back through the stalagmite there. Reloading the game reloads its position and its pathing strictly follows mine over the two squares I have to move on. I don't see any way out of this but deleting my save.

I'm sorry about this - the glitch is that you shouldn't have been able to jump over that stalagmite at all.
In the meantime, though, I tested in this version and found a way to escape. The enemy follows your pathing, but it can't reverse direction as quickly as you can. So go down, then go back up again as quickly as possible and jump - you'll be able to get to the other side and then either kill the enemy or escape the battle. The timing isn't too exact, but if you're having any trouble I suggest turning on autodash.
