Reviews for "Ouroboros"

It's not that bad, your creativity was good. Honestly, this was better what I could've done, and you're doing great. Keep up the good work!

This was truly a great game although a bit short.
Especially, the story blew me away.

If I may add a few critics, though the game is pretty easy once you understand how it all works, I think it may lack a tiny bit of guidance towards the end (got stuck for a moment before finding what to do once I got all three girls awakened). Well, that might just be me being a bit stupid too.

Also, it's almost a shame that this game has sex scenes. I mean, the game is great in itself, I think not having those scenes might get you even more public ! (Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the full scenes with the art too).

Final thing (and an advice for people wanting to play the game), it might just be my computer but the game on browser is a bit buggy which makes the experience a bit less enjoyable. So to anyone reading this : it's way better if you download the game (I'm not even sure you can save on browser).

Well, that's about it. I believe I've already played some of your games for remembering the artstyle and sprites, but I'll have to make sure to look for more stuff like this. Thanks a lot for making this and keep up the good work !

The game was not bad, but it was easy to make a mistake that forced me to reset the cycle when ot needed.
I think I could use some more choices or at least something more to do, some cycles where a bit boring when I only needed to collect the money and after an mistake I had to repeat the action because I couldn't an item.

Probably one of the best RPGs I have ever played, and that includes triple A titles. The plot is very interesting and I love the many changes to the dialogue as you progress the story. I also like how the game is explained well despite the ability to play in a non-linear fashion.

I have found one bug, I think - (CONTAINS SPOILERS)

After [unawakened] Amiel joined my party but before speaking to the fairy, I wandered around in the beginning forest and got awakened. With Amiel in my party, I went back to Amiel's house and triggered an automatic conversation with Amiel. However, the speech bubble came from a empty spot where Amiel would usually stand. I finished the conversation and the game continued as normal, so it's not in any way a gamebreaking bug, but just thought I should mention it.

All in all, I love the game a lot, and will check out Ouroboros v 2.0. I know you described it as having around double the content of this free version in terms of dungeons and sex scenes, but will the story be expanded upon as well?

SierraLee responds:

Glad you enjoyed it! As for the bug, that's unfortunate - I'm pretty sure we got it fixed for version 2.0, though.

Version 2.0 has the same story in the sense that it starts and ends in the same places as this one, but there's more content in the middle. Some of it gets into more backstory, other parts just let the characters do new things on different cycles. There are definitely more conversations between characters available. You also get a chance to meet the sorcerer from the plot twist again.

I like it, but this port gets some hefty slowdown. I'll be trying one of the other versions thank you.
