Haha... pretty cool. A top down, 2D shooter based around the idea of a virus inside a body. A rather niche way to fit into the Ludum Dare theme. It is a pretty solid game and a decent addition to the game jam. It has waves, increasingly harder enemies, and you are slowly upgrading by collecting the goo of your fallen foes. It does have some similarities with how real life cells work. While it's a pretty good game, it kind of has limited features, considering that this genre has been used many times before. There are many additions that could be implemented: power-ups, skill tree, boss waves plus a few UI things like a menu, achievements system and even a high-score leaderboard. Still I do think it's a solid game and if you can you should make a more "extensive" version of it. Good luck and keep it up.

ok so, i dont have much to say. This is a neat little pixel bullet hell kinda game which definitely makes a stay for some time. the game becomes pretty hard after wave 13. This is a great game, but the hardness is what ruins it sometimes. The fun thing that keeps you going is that you get plus 3 lives when you evolve which i think was a great mechanic.

The game, itself, was a pretty addicting game. I played it for a long time until i gave up and admitted to myself that i will never be able to beat my final score which was probably wave 17 i think. Good job on making this. must've been an ass-load of work. You deserve a thousand pats in the back.

Thanks so much for the feedback Hafi, it indeed gets quite hard towards the higher waves, third evolution makes it easier to survive, but just for a period of time :)

I guess I can appreciate how the game is rather easy. Well, how it's easy to understand. It seemed like you could just stay in the same place the whole game. That changed when they could fire stuff at you. Dang, am I lazy. The music is very nice.

I doubt this is scientifically accurate. It still has nice detail put into it. You rarely see sprite stuff. It actually is unique for its sprite work. The title's actually pretty funny.

3475 was my final score. really nifty game I was kinda sad once I got to the third evolution and just started getting +3 life each time tho there was more different enemy's so that kinda kept it interesting.
