This game is awesome!

Seems good, bit weird controls but overall fairly decent game. not sure whats up with the guy below, I see no comparison.

4/5. good game.

Decent fun, but I'm not sure the demo is enough to see how well the full game would work. Most of the abilities aren't really needed for the challenges in the game so far. Not a huge fan of the boss - wildly hacking seemed to be the most effective strategy - but I may just not have the hang of it.

There is a trick to the boss that lets you kill it in 3 hits.

Game feel is decent, seems to have some stuff for it already, just some things to think about, take it with a grain of salt:
1. It'd be nice if enemies couldn't shoot from offscreen (it isn't clear what their range is, and if you suddenly enter it mid jump when they're offscreen it's really hard to avoid)
2. Since this is a demo I'll let it pass, but the inclusion of an attack made me assume you couldn't jump on enemies, so that'd be something to let the player know
3. every enemy seems to move way faster than the player, and it can be frustrating with the somewhat floatier mario-esque controls
4.Does the roll have i-frames? I couldn't tell
5. You probably know this but you can cheese the boss by throwing projectiles and leaving the boss room
6. It's not made clear that you can reflect the boss' projectiles back

Otherwise, good stuff so far, I like the simplicity, the art direction/colour choices, the controls for the most part are nice, and it's definitely better than a lot of other roguelite platformer hybrids I've seen, keep it up!
