Reviews for "Blind Blade"

Very difficult but once you get the hang of it it feels fair and consistent. The one issue I have is that, we can only attack in 8 directions but it sometimes feels like the enemy is a few pixels out of alignment meaning you can't actually hit them. Maybe increase the hitbox sizes or - if they actually are perfectly aligned and it just *feels* off - maybe show a flash of their silhouette for near misses.

I am really enjoying this though and will probably play a lot more!

Like the style and theme. Just my suggestions below:

Since it is on PC, you should consider the movement to tied to mouse direction (and maybe together with mouse button down) instead of buttons to give it a much smoother movement as buttons feel very clunky.

Also, you can consider making the sound wave detection pinging off the blind fella more often as many a times, I actually move into attacks but the sound wave detection was lagging a second at my previous position.

Overall, it feels nice, keep it up.

You know I think I vaguely remmeber a game like this as an April Fools joke but I feel this went the extra mile to make it a proper game

I mean, there are some flaws. Sometimes I'll use sense, attack, and after the sense a new enemy will spawn right where I landed and kill me. At other times, I'll attack, but miss because my character didn't go where i wanted him to go due to the 8 cardinal directions thing. Not sure how to fix that one. But this game has a surprising amount of nuance. For example, skills cooldown separately, so I started doing much better when I found I could dash right after an attack to get out of a sticky situation. Though it would be cool if we could, say, combine dash and slash.

Absolutely love the visuals, the gameplay is a bit hard to pick up but still very fun!
