I would play a full length game if it had this feel. Heavy, atmospheric and meaningful. Like a tiny slice of dark souls. The recoveries and attacks feel real and heavy, with just enough challenge to be rewarding but not punishing. Would play a full length version of this where you can maybe sense your environment but the enemies are invisible, or every enemy type is sensed with a different sense and you have to learn to combat them! Fun stuff.

I enjoy the game immensely! It has an interesting twist with the senses that you don't see so much. Something does seem off however; it feels very hard to keep with the enemies. Be it due to their rate of fire, or the recovery frames of the attack.

Good game, somewhat slow movement, but a very good idea, and fun, congratulations.

I really like the interface and thee thematic elements, but having enemies spawn too close to possibly address in time got frustrating very quickly. Maybe if the player character also got ranged weapons on the same kind of cool down I would have been able to address sudden groups a little better. I would recommend cleaning up the movement a little bit so that it's not just restricted to the 8 directions and was possibly mouse controlled, but that could just be me griping about not being skilled enough with the amount of time that I spent playing.

Good new game idea! Really enjoyed playing it.
