Hi friends!

Today I'm joining in on the trans club

When I was little i grew up as the youngest with 4 older sisters

and they never cared to spend any time with me but

I remember being so upset that I couldn't wear dresses with them or go to the Hansen concert

(it was the 90s). . .

My best friend was a girl that was two years younger then me

she lived across the street. We were best friends for years until..she introduced me to another girl

who lived a few blocks away. I started spending more time with her instead and I think she liked me

but I was too blind to see it. Eventually I did but by that time my parents had split and I was forced to move away, however we talked over the phone for hours

I messed it all up though and she wouldnt even give me the time of day

After that my friend groups changed from outcasts to outcasts and I never fit into any group..

one day while hanging out with a friend he showed me a VHS and it was porn

but it was trans girls.

I was kept under a rock most of my life growing up

So when i saw these females who were like me

meaning - They had boy parts below but looked like girls

I had no idea at the time that they weren't born that way

so it furthered my feelings that maybe I can still be a girl and maybe my breasts just haven't grown yet.

Because before that I was confused as to why I didnt look more like my sisters

But that video gave me hope...maybe there was more that I wasnt being told

Maybe I'm just a late bloomer....but of course

as i got older my breasts never grew

and as time went on I learned that those girls had top surgery or HRT

With that knowledge in hand it meant that there were other people like me

I didnt grow up in the most open minded places

later in life i learned that they always thought there was something different about me...meaning they thought i was gay and they had told me they always thought I was gay

I found that to be odd since around them I never displayed liking boys around them...

Anyways...

I always found peace when i could dress up and pretend to be a girl

When I'd dress up and wear a bra that would emulate breasts

I would get a feeling in my chest and i could never describe what it was other then a massive relief

I eventually discovered this as gender euphoria

When i let it all go and just let it be ok that I felt that way when i looked female

that was the moment i knew....

After the years of hiding girl play and wearing make up and scrubbing it off before anyone would notice

growing my hair and people telling me i look girly and being ok with that but eventually having to cut my hair

I let it be ok and that was when everything came together

I'm a woman

My wife of over a decade has accepted me as a woman for over a year now

It's more then I could have hoped for

she is supportive and loves me all the same

Of course it was a little rocky at first when I came out

but lucky for me it all worked out

I do hope to move forward with my ventures to make my body match how I feel

just very slowly for now....

I'm happy to talk about trans stuff or share experiences so we can all learn and grow together

Easy! The praying mantis is by far my favorite bug. Tho I must admit that I have grown a huge respect for wasps and hymenopteras in general

Praying Mantis are really cool. Not much of a bug person but I love Grasshoppers

They indeed are! I kinda wanna keep praying mantises as pets, but bf is a bit hesitant on keeping pets that require live feeding. We discussing the possibilities of keeping beetles or giant hissing roaches instead

Grasshopper is a very good choice! Bugs are so cool, I can't think of a single one that I don't like. No matter how annoying we humans might find em :P

Hey folks, it's been a while since I last interacted with this thread. I just wanna say that this thread (and site in general) really makes me feel like I could have the chance to be treated like a real human, as a trans girl myself.

I've seen quite a massive wave of transphobia on the Internet lately, and it genuinely makes me feel terrible that this may just be the world we're living in; one where people argue that trans folks are a bunch of mentally-ill morons who deserve to be heavily criticised for doing something that harms literally no one. Their arguments aren't even rooted in science (so much for "muh biology", grab a fuckin psychology book)! I genuinely hope these chronically-online fucks finally realise that they're just being pricks and start actually respecting people for their life choices. They're not oppressed for "saying the truth", they're allowed to say the shit they say that's only just driving more innocent people to end themselves.

But hey, at least NG is as cool as always.

Also, sorry for being a bit of a downer here. Just wanted to share my feelings about what I've seen the past couple of weeks and this thread seemed like the right place.
