Spooky!

Liked the art and most of the scares as well.
Problems I had were the glitch that many seem to have of not being able to pick the camera and therefore not being able to finish the game and a more personal problem of accidentally skipping one or more of the scares. When I know a layout I tend to click from screen to screen without pause and at one of them I saw a hanging victim start to drop from the roof but I was out of the room before I even realized what I saw. Something more in-my-face like stopping the game and focusing up close on the scare so I don't ignore it might be nice to see.
Puzzles were nice, though. But because I can't finish the game (as far as I and walkthroughs know) I have to score it down a bit. Sorry.

I should pay attention to the Author comments...

The game is VERY fun, especially when playing in the dead of the night. the slightly fuzzy graphics complements the creepiness of the storyline, and it actually gave me goosebumps. Unfortunately, I pressed tab to see if I can find where I got stuck, and scared the living hell out of me.

Note to self: Read next time.

Great

I've played many games of this type and this one is decent. The atmosphere was adequate. It could use some blood soaked operating tables or perhaps a storage room for the organs, something to disturb the player, but it looked fine. The ambiance was interesting. I liked how the breathing became more intense as you moved down the hall, but it could use a little more variety. Occasional sounds of footsteps, the sound of a glass object breaking, a scream in the distance, faint whispering, etc would add to the scare factor. You could also add a few more scares to the game. The mirror in the restroom would be a perfect trigger. It could suddenly shatter, display a disturbing reflection, or reveal the presence of an otherwise undetectable spirit. The light switch could be used in a similar fashion. I like the way you blocked the tab key. The puzzles were typical, only the unobservant and impatience would miss the clues you've left. The only major fault I can find is the camera. It seems to be bugged as many players claim they cannot pick it up. Overall, a good game.

Good game story!

i'm still kinda scared to get past the guard... Who knows what might pop up and scream at me! Also... What happens if you press the tab button?
just curious.. I REALLY don't wanna get a screamer at the moment ._.

It's a shame...

...that the programming doesn't match the art in quality. I found myself stuck after being unable to pick up the camera when I needed to, while other items would reappear after I already picked them up (like the lighter). While the puzzles and ambiance are great, the glitches are frustrating, so the game could benefit from a little more testing.
